[Media Campaign] HOW SUCCESSFUL WAS THE CAMPAIGN

There was some problems with the campaign that I would like to change in the next occasion:

  • The starting time: We start the media campaign quite late and quite close to the date of the premiere. This reduce the time that we have to spread the information in order to increase our brand awareness thus attract more viewers to the movie. We should have start earlier, when we have done with the production is the best time to implement the plan that we did during the pre production.

  • More details timeline: Our timeline was relatively simple with not much details on it. In the next occasion, I should have considered the deadline for the small tasks within a post (content writing, visual, ...) and also how will we monitored tasks.

  • Self-Promotion was poor: We should have utilize the fact that we have beautiful and well designed postcard to stick those postcards around the school, in the information board on each hallway. We also not regularly share the post from the studio page with our personal Facebook account. For the next occasion, we should have considered real-life promotion method as well as regularly share posts using our personal social media account


Things went well:

  • With the help of the PR timeline, we did not forget to post any necessary posts, it helps a lot when we was in a rush as the premiere will soon gonna start

  • Our visuals was well-designed and are appealing to viewers

  • We success to put an element of our unique "sense of branding" in each post: the snake in the introduction; the greenish in the teaser (sickness); the eye in the logo; the postcards with both peaceful and creepy elements.
