Today, I have been working on finalizing, smoothing and adjusting all of the visuals elements. That includes: cut, scene, additional elements, color grading and animation or special effect. It took me 4 hours to get all of that done. There some shots missing and some shots were error. Luckily, those shots were mostly nature shots and did not required actors involve. I quickly send a message to my cinematographer, Tran Phuong Linh and asked her to film those footage, including a shot of water pour down (right to left) and a shot of a bowl of noodle being filled up with water. She understand the mission and told me that she would get it done by tomorrow night.
Now without those footages, there is nothing that I can do more with the visuals aspect so I decided that it is time for me to start editing the sound aspect. When I started to look through the sound of the project, I know that there will be a lot of work needed to be done. The first problem is that while filming, we were quite noisy and also instruct the actors a lot and unfortunately, those sound can be heard quite well in the video. Because it is quite late at the moment I completed the fine cut stage so I will just write here the potential solutions that I found:
I will need to either record or find online room tones to replace those part that was noisy or have our conversation in the background
There was some parts that only few seconds in the video have unwanted sound so what I will do is take the sound bed from the previous few second, copy and paste it into those part.
With that plan in mind, I can't wait to start cooking the sound aspect of the movie.
