Overall, the shooting day took place smoothly and faster than expected. We did not need to reshoot many times; most scenes were completed in one shot. It is just that the foot-level scene took us quite some time to get done because we did not have a gimble available, so the first few trials were quite shaky. Also, thanks to how my school is designed, we can shoot the scene as we imagined when planning it.
However, the biggest problem occurred at the end of the shooting day: the rain started to fall. Although the rain was not too heavy, it was still a big problem as it broke our camera, so we could not shoot all the scenes as planned. We could not film those scenes outside the school: Annie meets Fish and Chips and is kidnapped. This delayed our plan, meaning we had to plan another day to shoot those scenes.
From that, I learned that before creating a shooting plan, the day before the shooting day, I should have checked the weather forecast to determine whether the weather suits the scenes planned to be recorded on that day. Also, I should have asked the cinematographer to practice the foot-level shot beforehand so that it saved more time.
Apart from that, I am satisfied with the progress that we have made after this shooting day!
