EVALUATION
Overall, the shooting day went quite well; we completed 2/3 of the scenes we planned to shoot. After going home to check the footage, I saw that it was well recorded, and we will likely not need to reshoot any of those scenes. However, some problems happened during the shooting day.
The first problem was that although we arrived at the Pho stall quite early, we decided to eat breakfast before starting shooting, which postponed the recording process. As a result, when we started the shooting session, the Pho stall started to be crowded, making the stall employee feel pretty uncomfortable and annoyed as we were shooting. Luckily, the stall owner still allowed us to carry on despite the crowdedness.
The second problem was that when we changed the location to my home to carry on with the shooting day, the actor's motorbike broke during transportation, delaying the shooting for 2 hours.
The next problem was that we only had one battery for the camera, and as a result, the camera went out of battery when we had not finished shooting our planned scene. That's why we could only record 2/3 of the planned scenes.
For the next recording session, I think we should not postpone the shooting and start as soon as possible. With the shooting schedule during the whole day, we should have a lunch break and charge the camera. We could have charged the camera's battery for this shooting day when the actor's motorbike broke.
